If you are attempting this for some reason, then feel free to ask me where this luck dependent part is (or, better, if you are there yet). There is a nearby savepoint so you could reset until you get it, but I'd recommend just using savestates for this part if you take the extra energy tank. Unfortunately, collecting this energy tank makes something that happens much later luck dependent. If you want this truly terrible experience, then try skipping the first energy tank you see. This was the only change I made (and corresponding things to make the change possible) after my playtest, so it's been tested without. Disclaimer / Warning / Spoiler / Read at your own risk I guess : There is an extra energy tank, to make it more palatable. It wasn't the main point of the plando anyway.
There's one thing that upsets me about it that I kind of want to fix, but it would be non-trivial and I don't want to spend more time on it. I thought it would be long, maybe even tedious, but an interesting idea. After the skeleton was planned from my late night thoughts, I just put other items in locations I knew they were accessible. Today, I decided to quick sit down and make it. I've was thinking about a cute idea for a plando for the past couple weeks when I couldn't sleep.
